With a background in mechanical engineering, Dr. Michael Duboff brings a unique attention to detail and the precision of an artist to Smile Designers of Las Vegas. Dr. Duboff, originally from the East Coast, graduated from the New York Institute of Technology in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. After working briefly in that industry, Dr. Duboff decided that his true passion was dentistry and pursued his dream at the Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry at Boston University. During that time, Dr. Duboff excelled highly in his coursework and stood out as a dental student. He was subsequently invited to participate in an externship with the U.S. Coast Guard where he performed general dentistry for Coast Guard personnel in Yorktown, Virginia.
After graduating from dental school, Dr. Duboff worked as an associate dentist in several different practices, gaining experience in dentistry, perfecting his chairside manner, and beautifying smiles throughout Massachusetts. In late 2006, Dr. Duboff decided to leave the East Coast to take over the cosmetic dentistry practice of Dr. Earl Lord in Las Vegas.
Dr. Duboff is strongly committed to continuing the same great tradition of quality, personalized cosmetic and general dentistry that Dr. Lord has established. Dr. Duboff is excited to be leading his own practice and looks forward to meeting with each of his new Las Vegas patients.

Dr. Earl Lord received his Doctorate in Dentistry from Northwestern University, located in Chicago, Illinois. Following his graduation in 1974, he went to work for the Nevada State Children's Clinic, where he had the opportunity to care for underprivileged children. After that, he moved into private practice and has been serving the dental needs and cosmetic desires of Las Vegas residents ever since.
Not only is Dr. Lord a talented cosmetic dentist, but he also gives back to the Las Vegas community as a whole. He has worked for Boy Scouts of America for more than 20 years and continues his service to this day in various leadership positions. He is a member of the local, state, and national dental associations as well as the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Lord also served on the Southern Nevada Dental Society's Peer Review Committee for more than 15 years, four of which were in the very demanding position of chairman. The Academy of General Dentistry, of which he is also a member, bestowed their coveted Fellowship Award upon Dr. Lord for his commitment to continuing education in the field of dentistry. He is now in the process of earning the Masters Award, by which time he will have taken in excess of 2000 hours of continuing training in the dental field.
Dr. Earl Lord is dedicated to continually upgrading his knowledge and skills by undergoing as much training and attending as many seminars as time will allow. He also possesses a similar dedication to upgrading equipment in his office to incorporate the latest advances in dental philosophy and technology. Due to his commitment to education and new technology, Dr. Lord's patients and peers have come to recognize him as a cosmetic dentist on the cutting edge.
But, while he takes tremendous pride in his efforts and achievements, Dr. Lord is the first to remind us that these are borne out of his strong desire to simply render the best possible care for those that have entrusted their dental care to him.
